Wild Imagination
Tom Sawyer has a very wild imagination. Its like he reads too much, it's
getting to his head. The scene where they were "raiding the
elephants", but they were actually just messing up a picnic for some
students and teachers is a good example of this. Tom was seeing a bunch of
animals and Egyptians, but really they were just kids. It kind of shows that he
really doesn't want to see reality as it is, but what he sees in books and how
he wants to see it. While Finn is seeing the reality and thinking Tom is
crazy. Tom is really living the imaginative life. I wonder if he thought they
were actually going to steal and kill people.

I have to agree that Finn's imagination is more real then Tom Sawyers
ReplyDeleteAll I have to say is that Tom's imagination is pretty awesome. Personally I wish I had that great of an imagination when I was younger. If you really think about it, the things you might think and imagine of might be absurd but seriously what a childhood that would be, full of such "adventures" and fun!
