Why would Huck want to be with his abusive alcoholic
father?! I feel Huck feels it’s just an easier lifestyle to live and he also
feels obligated to live his dad ways and make his father happy. I mean I’d
rather live an easier non civilized life with my birth father instead of
civilized adopted harder to live life and have more responsibility’s probably
too. But by doing this Hucks putting his self into a lot of danger and dumbing
himself down by living with his father. So I feel his decision to live with his
dad is a bad decision.
I agree that Huck should runaway from his father
ReplyDeleteThis is all based on fiction so the reason? Really just is because of the writer. :P
ReplyDeleteI agree that Huck's decision to live with his father is bad and that he just wants to make his father happy but then again who wouldn't want their own father to be proud of them. I wouldn't blame Huck for wanting to make his father happy. In your post you stated how living with the widow for Huck would be much more responsibility and how you would want to live an easy and non-civilized life, but wouldn't you want to be all that you can be and learn how to handle all these big responsibilities rather than dumbing yourself down? Just something to think about.
ReplyDeleteHe wanted the freedom even though he didn't have much he had more then what he would have at the widows
