Jim Would Have scared the Living Rats Out of Me

A part that was really interesting to me was when Huck runs off from his home town to go to Jacksons Island. I think I wouldn’t have been as brave and unafraid as Huck was to run off into another place where it would be new and unknown. It really shows how courageous he is and how he’s able to take anything without worrying. But when Huck is at the island and he finds Jim sleeping would be a very scary thing to experience because obviously I would figure I am alone at the island but finding someone else on it would definitely startle me. Luckily Jim was someone Huck knew but if it would’ve been a stranger I think Huck would feel frightened a worried. At least, that’s how I would feel if I was in Huck’s spot.
