Pap Aint Nutin' But A Gold Digger

The way Pap only comes to town because he hears that Huck is rich, is really quite selfish. He can’t come around to see or even take care of his own son but after he has lived mostly on his own and somehow become rich Pap comes down because he wants the money. Not to mention the fact that he demands for Huck to give him the money. He doesn't even ask for it properly at all number one and number two what kind of sick person does he have to be to take money from his own child and number three he's taking it to spend it on drinking and not to advance his child, the one from whom he would have obtained the money from. The thought of this makes me angry and sick. I personally would not want anyone like that in my life.

  1. I agree with this post. I would not want someone in my life like pap. It is not right for someone just to be friends with you, or in your life because you have money.

  2. A family has always been seen something to treasure and hold tight to your heart. Family is the place where you are accepted and loved for who you are. I find it crazy how one worldy obsession can tare that apart. Alcohol can change families more than we think! Couldn't agree more about not wanting this person in my life..but it's less rare than we think!

  3. I completely agree with you because if I had a father like Pap I would feel really annoyed and aggravated because he only comes for money and that is really selfish and rude. I would not feel very loved by my father either because he only comes to see me because I have money.

  5. It really is all kinds of selfish for pap to not even visit his son and then come to him when he hears that Huck has found a ton of money. Its even worse when pap decides to complain that he's the victim when he wants Huck money and barely took care of him, let alone that he abused his kid like he was nothing. Greed is a powerful and terrible thing, I guess.
