In the story of Huckleberry Finn we have been experiencing some really crazy turn of events. Unfortunately for you I am not here to summarize the book, sorry. I am here to tell you what my predictions for the book and my thoughts on what has been happening lately. Now I believe one of two things either Huckleberry Finn and Jim will run out of food and they will have to venture off into the towns that are close by to get food and supplies but, while in the town one of them will be discovered either by the towns people or by Pap. My other prediction is that Huckleberry Finn will want to go back to all his friends so badly that he leaves Jim on the island by himself and turns himself in so he can play with Tom Sawyer and all the other boys. I think one or both of these predictions will happen because, why would Huckleberry Finn stay on the island. Yes he wants to get away from Pap but, once all that food runs out he will have to go back to town. Unlike Jim if Huckleberry Finn returns up the river to his home he will be welcomed back because he is not a runaway slave like Jim.

I agree with the fact that Huck might realize that he probably should go back, and that things could get worse for them, run out of food, they might get hurt worse then just a snake bite. Huck has got choices, unlike Jim who really kind of has to stay there, or face the fact that if he goes back he might be sold or killed.
ReplyDeleteI find this to be an interesting concept that I haven't thought about.
ReplyDeleteI agree I think huck and Jim will have to do something due to the fact that they will run out of food. They may go to towns for food or even hunt for their food.
ReplyDeleteThey have to be careful going into town though. They're only a few towns away from where they came from. They don't know who all knows about their disappearances.
ReplyDeleteThey have to leave soon, now that they know that they are looking for Jim!
