Runaway

I think Huck made the right choice by leaving his dad. Just the night before pap was trying to kill him. If Huck would have stayed any longer, pap might have killed him. Pap is a no good, rotten drunk. The only reason he came back was for Hucks money. If Huck and Tom never would have got that money, Huck would have never seen Pap and he would still be living with the widow.  Huck did what he had to do and wanted to do all along, runaway.

    "Pap is a no good, rotten drunk" -BEST LINE EVER.
    It took a lot of courage for Huck to leave and go out on his own. Especially when there is no guarantee for shelter or protection. I feel as though he will be genuinely happier though.
