Huck is too young to be running away. I agree on why he did it, I just thing he should have waited to leave. He could have got his money then left. It would have been a little easier than faking his own death. But so far it is working out for him I just would have waited a little longer!
I mean I'm fifty-fifty on this because it depends on the situation. Like if Huck's life was completely horrible I understand why he would want to run away so quickly but if his life was bearable a little bit he could've waited as you said, to get money, and have a more efficient plan. But yea I'd say 50% agree and 50% disagree.
ReplyDeleteI think that he did what he had to, to get away from Pap. He made the right decision by leaving that night when he saw Pap coming. Because he knew if Pap knew that he was going to run away, he would lock him up and never let him leave. He didn't want to have to stay with him.
ReplyDeleteHuck maybe young but he is a man. By this I mean he has taken care of himself for a least a year or more before pap comes back. So to me Huck might be able to handle what may happen after his escape, but here is were the might comes in. What if Huck runs into robbers or a murder along his way he is just a small starved child he would have no chance. So when it comes to nature Huck is fine, but when it comes to people I don't if he can handle that but still I think running away was best.
